Q: Why can't I connect to the 2701 using different programs at the same time?
A: The 2701 allows for only one connection to the instrument at a
time. This prevents the accidental reset of the instrument when
running the primary program.
Example: If you are running a program on the 2701, the one socket
rule will prevent another program from connecting to the unit and
interfering with the task underway.
Additionally, the 2701 also has a password feature that can be enabled which can further increase the security of access.
